Westside Grovely Football Club is proud to celebrate the incredible success of our Under 23 squad, who completed a truly dominant season in the FQPL 5 Under 23 league for 2025.

Coached by Stuart Cahill and Dan Sharpe, the team delivered a year of consistent excellence, ultimately securing a brilliant league and Grand Final double. Their league campaign was nothing short of remarkable: they finished the season undefeated after 22 matches, racking up an impressive 20 wins and 2 draws.

This exceptional run of form saw them claim the league title by a commanding 18-point margin, well clear of second-placed Bethania Rams. The statistics speak for themselves, highlighting the team’s balance of attacking flair and defensive solidity: they scored a massive 74 goals across the season while conceding a miserly 18 goals.

The lads sealed their historic achievement by winning the Grand Final 2-0 against Bethania, completing a memorable double that confirms their status as the best Under 23 team in the competition this year.

A huge congratulations to Stuart, Dan, and every player in the Under 23 squad for their dedication, hard work, and thrilling performances throughout the 2025 season. They have set a new benchmark for success at the club!
